Buiten Dienst

Buiten Dienst is a unique one-day festival, a collaboration between B-Classic, Cultuurcentrum De Velinx, MoMeNT Festival and CLTR Tongeren-Borgloon. The first edition takes place in Hoepertingen on Sunday 20 September, where the village transforms into a living trail of music, performance and interventions for an afternoon. The festival offers no enclosed grounds, but integrates art and life in everyday spaces such as the canteen, castle, church, bakery and square. It's a journey where friction and encounter take centre stage, and where the boundary between function and imagination blurs. Buiten Dienst temporarily sets the village on a different track, promising an experience where art energizes the surroundings and transforms perception.
