Account data when you sign in via Google (name, email, profile photo), spots, reviews, claims and feedback you submit, basic device/browser information for analytics, and approximate location only if you enable it (never stored on our servers — used in-browser to centre the map).
Place pages may show data sourced from public OSM tags, DATAtourisme, optional Google enrichment and owner submissions — including website, phone, opening hours and (when published as a public contact field) email. We surface these as basic, ungated info. Owners can request corrections any time.
To run the service: show the map, save your favourites, attribute the spots you contribute, process payments via Stripe for businesses that choose Business Visibility, send transactional emails (e.g. payment receipts), and review owner claims / spot submissions before they go public.
We run our own privacy-first analytics in MongoDB — no third-party trackers, no PostHog, no Google Analytics. We only count anonymous page-views, search queries and PWA installs to understand what works. Opaque visitor IDs (random UUIDs in localStorage), no IPs stored, bot traffic filtered server-side, auto-purged after 90 days. We honour your browser's Do-Not-Track signal. You can refuse via the cookie banner without losing any feature.
We never sell your data. We use Stripe (payments), Google OAuth (sign-in) and Resend (transactional email) — each governed by their own privacy policies.
You can request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@outlandweb.com. We respond within 30 days as required by GDPR.
Account data is kept while your account is active. Anonymous analytics are retained for at most 12 months.
Terrivo is not directed at children under 16.
We will notify you via the app if we materially change this policy.
