New Blues Festival Assen

On Saturday 3 October 2026, De Bonte Wever celebrates the tenth edition of the New Blues Festival Assen. This festival is a meeting place for blues lovers and promises an evening of diverse music, a relaxed atmosphere and new discoveries. The line-up features artists from the Netherlands and beyond, ranging from emerging talent to established names in the blues scene. Besides the performances, visitors can enjoy food, whisky and specialty beer at the hospitality square. The event is a collaboration between Bluesstichting Assen and De Bonte Wever. Performing artists include King King, Sean Webster Band, AJ Plug & Band, Blues Caravan 2026 and The Black River Roots.
