Apocalypse North Fest

Turbojugend Groningen, High-Church, Assen and Emmen join forces for Apocalypse North Fest. The festival focuses on denim and loud guitars, with a programme ranging from raw rock-'n-roll to uncompromising punk. The line-up promises bands suited for intense performances in sweaty venues. Arson delivers an explosive mix of rock-'n-roll, punk, hardcore and southern rock, characterized by roaring guitars and tight drums. Liar Thief Bandit from Sweden are known for energetic rock-'n-roll with influences from classic rock, garage and punk. Bent Out of Shape from Fryslân brings uncompromising streetpunk and Oi! with solid riffs and singalong choruses. Destroy-Oh-Boy presents fast, catchy punk rock with influences from Ramones and The Hellacopters. Speedhound keeps the tempo high with hard-hitting old-school punk, while Vergane Glorie puts Dutch-language classics in a Ramones-style punk rock jacket, creating a steaming party. DJ Яwin and DJ Overlast complete the programme.
